Adopting a Pet

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued pet. All Anthem Pets dogs and cats receive spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, a microchip, and they will be treated for any health issues that we know of. Then it’s time for them to meet a loving family. 

To get started click on a pet’s picture, read their bio and if you’d like to meet them click on the text that says, “Apply for Pet’s Name“. Our priority is to create the best match for the PET, so please don’t be offended if you are not selected to adopt a specific dog or cat. If you’re a good match, we will let the foster know and will set up a time for you to meet the pet. Once you have met and decided to adopt you will be sent an Adoption Contract. You will be able to pay the adoption fee securely by credit card, which includes a 5% charge to cover our processing fees, however if you are able to pay via Zelle you can avoid the 5% charge. Like many shelters, our adoption fees vary by pet and partially covers the cost of their veterinary care, food and needed supplies.
