Thanks to your support Anthem Pets has been saving dogs and cats since 2005, and because we are volunteer and foster based rescue your money goes even further! We’re excited to announce a 50/50 Raffle which will run from May 1 to May 31, with the draw on June 1.

We are fundraising to buy supplies and provide veterinary care to all rescued pets. Every dog and cat receives a checkup, vaccinations, a microchip and is spayed or neutered, and your donations and participation in this fundraiser makes that possible. The raffle will be run online by Rafflebox. A 50/50 is a raffle where tickets are sold at a predetermined selling price and the total jackpot is split into two equal parts. The person whose ticket is drawn receives half of the total amount of the “jackpot” – 50% goes to the winner and 50% goes to Anthem Pets. Your purchase of a raffle ticket is not a donation or tax deductible. Please see the rules below.

50/50 Rules

1. You must be 18+ years of age to play, per Arizona Law.

2. For assistance with purchasing tickets, please call or email Rescue@AnthemPets.org

3. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 10 tickets, $25.00 for 50 tickets, $50.00 for 150 tickets, $100 for 400.

4. Tickets can be purchased online at www.rafflebox.us/raffle/apar

5. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox.

6. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

7. The amount of the 50/50 will be displayed on the APAR 50/50 site atwww.rafflebox.us/raffle/apar

8. The winning ticket number will be selected by the Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw, and posted on the website: www.rafflebox.us/raffle/apar

9. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Anthem Pets Animal Rescue at Rescue@AnthemPets.org

The winning ticket will be verified by Anthem Pets Animal Rescue. The winner will then be paid by check for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket email and no copies. All payments will be made by check.

10. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw for which their ticket was purchased.

11. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification.

12. Once the certified winner is verified, they will be given a check in the amount of the declared prize which is 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

13. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated back to Anthem Pets Animal Rescue.
