BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is bringing hope to the nation’s shelter pets this holiday season with its “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” adoption event Dec. 1 – 17. BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors reduced adoption fees of $50 or less per cat or dog during each nationwide event. This event will be hosted in more than 380 shelters in 43 states, including Anthem Pets Animal Rescue. Pet adoption is a lifetime commitment, and not just for the holidays. BISSELL Pet Foundation and Anthem Pets urge families to research the pet they are interested in adopting, as well as adoption requirements.
From December 1 – 17 prices will be reduced to $50 for select cats and dogs, and those participating will have a Bissell photo to identify them. When you’ve found a cat or dog that you’d like to meet please fill out the application attached to their profile. Requests for an in-person visit will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Then if you are a match, you will fill out a Bissell Adoption Survey, pay your adoption fee and go home with your new BFF!
Anthem Pets works 365 days a year to save dogs and cats in need. Once a rescue has a wellness check-up, vaccinations, a microchip, and is spayed or neutered your furry friend is ready to go home with you! All donations and adoption fees go toward saving more animals.
